Workers of the largest sports publication in the territory of the CIS Sport-Express decided not to suspend work on Friday, August 24. This was reported to the solidarity by the correspondent of the Football department SE Alexander Martanov.

“The situation has changed noticeably,” he said. – Today all the prerequisites appeared to ensure that everything eventually happened as we would like it. We will come to work tomorrow, so the newspaper’s Saturday will be 100% in print.

Recallthat on August 16, about fifty employees of the newspaper filed notifications on the suspension of professional activities in accordance with Article 142 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. The main reasons are many months of delays in wages and discontent of the personnel and economic policy pursued by the current owner of the newspaper. The initiative group of SE workers, which includes Alexander Martanov, promised that if in the near future the situation does not fundamentally change, then the newspaper employees (and these are journalists, proofreaders, photographs, and other editorial staff) will suspend work.

The interlocutor of Solidarity did not confirm this information, but in connection with the news of the last minutes, it is possible to assume with a high degree of probability that in the very near future (perhaps today), the owner will change at the newspaper. And this means that some of the problems, including wages, will be withdrawn.
