The new success of ours at the school sports festival!
From September 27 to October 04, 2015, the third international school sports festival among the CIS member states, which gathered students from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belarus, Moldova, Turkmenistan, was held in Ulyanovsk. According to the prevailing tradition, the team of schoolchildren of the Odintsovo district in Badminton took part in the competition, which has been represented by the Russian Federation at the festival for three years.
The goals of the festival held as part of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War were: strengthening international sports and humanitarian ties, children's friendship; Attracting adolescents to physical education and sports.
The organizers of the sporting event were: the All-Russian Federation of School, the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States, the Executive Committee of the CIS, the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency of Rossotrudnichestvo, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Ulyanovsk Region.
Along with a well-prepared sports and consumer part, which included competitions in six types of programs: basketball, volleyball, table tennis, mini-football, badminton and chess, an extensive cultural and educational program was organized for young participants in the festival: opening, closing and closing ceremonies and ceremonies of the festival. The awards of the winners, the laying of wreaths at the Victory Memorial, the thematic event “Dialogues in Russian”, a photo and autograph sessions with famous athletes and Olympic champions, discos, master classes, film screenings, excursions in Ulyanovsk with a visit to museum expositions.
The festival’s accent was the public forum “Development of school sports in the CIS countries”, which was attended by deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, representatives of the administration of the Ulyanovsk region, educational and sports departments of the CIS countries, heads of delegations of national teams participating in the festival, and representatives of federations for sports CIS countries, guests of the festival.
The team team of schoolchildren of the Odintsovo municipal district, which included: Kuptsova Maria From the Odintsovo secondary school No. 1, Lanin Nikita From the Odintsovo secondary school No. 9, Gorelova Victoriastudying the Odintsovo gymnasium No. 7 and Korneev Matvey, a gymnasium student of the Odintsovo linguistic gymnasium, 2nd general place.
Our young athletes – the participants of the festival – received not only a decent sports award, for which they had to compete. During the festival, they charged with incredible optimism, made new discoveries for themselves, met the guys from other countries and found friends among them, and were also able to talk with famous athletes and politicians.
We are proud of the successes of our guys, who, protecting the honor of Russia, the Moscow Region and Odintsovo land, had a lot of work in order to win a prize in competitions of such a high level. We sincerely wish young athletes even more significant victories not only in sports, but also in other areas of their lives.
