The investigating authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for St. Petersburg initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs “b”, “e”, “d”, part 2 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation) in relation to a local resident and a group of unidentified persons.

Combating crimes in the sphere of non-payment of wages to citizens is one of the most important priorities in the work of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in St. Petersburg. In order to intensify this work, a number of measures were taken to improve the efficiency of activities to combat non-payment of wages in St. Petersburg, including those of an interdepartmental nature.

The evidence collected by the investigating authorities of the Russian Investigative Committee for St. Petersburg in a criminal case, investigated within three days, was recognized by the court as sufficient for sentencing a 24-year-old local resident working as a bartender, he was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against a representative of authority).
