Sberbank will become a co -owner of Lenta.ru, Gazeta.ru, posters, championship, Rambler, Ferra and LiveJournal

Sberbank will spend 11 billion rubles for the purchase of 46.5% in the Internet holding Rambler Group. The shares of current shareholders of ANN Alexander Mamut and Era Capital Ekaterina Lapshina will be 46.5% and 7%, respectively. The transaction does not imply the receipt of funds from Sberbank.

The company will be managed by the board of directors, which will include three representatives of Sberbank and ANN, as well as one representative of the ERA Capital. The deal will be held in Cash-in: Sberbank will invest in Rambler Group and pay off the loan issued by the holding at the Trust bank. The main part of the funds will be aimed at developing digital assets. Closing the transaction is expected in the third quarter of 2019 after receiving the approval of the FAS.

As a result, the Sberbank ecosystem will be replenished with media assets that belong to Rambler Group. Among them are the online cinema OkKO and sites Gazeta.ru, Lenta.ru, Afisha.ru, Championat.com, Rambler.ru, Ferra.ru, Living Journal. The monthly audience of these resources is about 60 million people. In addition, Sberbank partially finances the reconstruction of the Artistic Chemistry.
