At the end of October, Vesti Tver announced the start of the My Coach is the Best competition. Under its terms, young athletes had to congratulate their mentors in an original way, shoot a video and send it to us on a social network.
On November 5, the acceptance of works ended. During this time, judoists, athletes, basketball players, boxers, swimmers and many others sent their video greetings. To become winners, the videos had to get a large number of “likes” in the comments. Unfortunately, not everyone approached the process in good faith and used programs to cheat votes. We did not take into account such participants, evaluating only the live audience.
Thus, Marina Fedosova became the winner, she sent a video about the majorette sports and baton twirling coach Elena Osmolovskaya from Kimry – now our film crew will dedicate a story to her, which will be included in the On the Start program on the Russia 24 TV channel.
The second video with the most votes came from Zhenya Alyokhina. In it, she and the children talked about the basketball coach of the Leader sports school in Tver, Irina Sergeeva.
Well, the video congratulations from Ivanov Kolya completed the top three winners, in which he thanks his judo mentors – Nikita Kosolapov and Dmitry Ivanov.
The authors of the three best works will receive prizes from Vesti Tver. For those less fortunate, don't fret. Your efforts did not go unnoticed, dozens of children joined in the congratulations, which certainly brought joy to the coaches of the Upper Volga region. We, in turn, found out how many excellent mentors work in our region, perhaps in the future they will also become guests of the broadcasts.
