Supercup of the Chelyabinsk region at the Academy
On Victory Day, the Chelyabinsk Region Super Cup match was held at the Central Stadium. The honorary trophy was contested by the hosts – Football Academy and Shakhtar, representing the Korkinsky municipal district (coaches Yuri DERGUNOV and Sergey NECHAYEV).
The prize has been awarded since 2015. The match is between the champion of the region and the owner of the Cup of the region. The owner of the first trophy is Miass Torpedo, which defeated the Chelyabinsk Signal – 3:1.
The next year, the car factories repeated their success, defeating FC Argayash – 7:1. In 2017, Torpedo and the Football Academy played for the Super Cup, the Academicians won 2:1.
Last year, the prize was contested by Shakhtar (Rose), who became the champion in 2017, and the owner of the Torpedo Cup. Rozintsy, conceding first, then scored twice, winning such a significant trophy for the first time!
