The glorious history of the Army club began in 1923, when the first football match was held between the sportsmen for the championship of the capital. Then Muscovites first saw a team with an unknown sports emblem of the OPC-an experimental and evidence site of the omnipotence (universal military training). It was formed during the central management of military training of workers on the basis of the pre -revolutionary “Society of Lovers of Sports” (OLLS) and was located in the Sokolniki Park of Moscow and became the first central sports organization of the Red Army.
Throughout its history, the army club was not only a forge of talented athletes, but simply in love with sports and physical culture of young people.
Today, the successes of representatives of the Central Sports Club of Army are a business card of Russian sports. CSKA athletes are reliable defenders of the sports prestige of our Fatherland. Over its almost centuries -old history, the army club raised more than 400 thousand athletes who brought a huge number of awards of the Olympic Games, world and European awards to the piggy bank of the USSR and Russia, which to this day is an absolute record among all sports organizations of Russia.
In many ways, this is the merit of our sports veterans, those people who themselves forged the history of army victories. They still take an active part in the life of CSKA, convey their experience and knowledge to the younger generation, for which we thank them with all our hearts.

Happy birthday, beloved club!
Today our club celebrates the next birthday! On this day in 2016, the Moscow army team held the first match in their history, tied with the capital of Chertanovo (1: 1).
Over the years, the CSKA ZhFK twice became the champion of Russia (2019, 2020), won the Russian Cup (2017), and also debuted in the UEFA Champions League (2020, 2021). At the same time, the history of the army club and its predecessors began back in 2003, when the women's football team “Nadezhda – Battle Brotherhood”, later transformed into “Russian” was created.
Today we want to say thanks to everyone who supports and worries for our team, who sincerely love our club! Thank you, army team, for the fact that you are nearby! Because CSKA is a family, and the family is forever!
